Bright Spark clears drinking water from bacterial infections

• The Bright Spark system, which kills germs and viruses in drinking water due to anodic oxidation (electrolysis) freed drinking water on Svitzer tugboats from Legionella and other bacterial infections

The technology:
The technical principle is used for disinfection of water in systems with a broad range of capacities. The range is from small water tanks in small ships (300 liters) up till tanks with even 100,000 liters.

The project:
One of the products of Bright Spark is the water disinfection unit for tanks. Many of them are used in tugboats at the company Svitzer in Amsterdam, the Netherlands (among other countries). Before they contacted Bright Spark, they had a problem with legionella and other bacteria in their water tanks and pipes. Their existing technologies didn't comply. The system of Bright Spark did; Svitzer Amsterdam does not have an issue with legionella anymore.
