About
The company Bright Spark was founded in 2002 and has since then grown to be a successful company in the field of water treatment. It reconciles creativity, technical knowledge and corporate drive. The company is located in Joure (the Netherlands) and first emerged due to its inventions in the fields of water treatment.

Products and Services
Bright Spark develops durable, effective and cost saving water treatment systems for the national as well as the international market. The company is proud of having developed a unique technique to disinfect water. Its system works due to anodic oxidation (electrolysis) and kills germs and viruses in drinking water. The technical principle is used for disinfection of water in systems with a broad range of capacities, from small water tanks in ships (300 liters) up to tanks with even 100,000 liters.

A second innovation of Bright Spark is the paintless antifouling system, which can be used to protect underwater objects from fouling. Ships hulls and other underwater objects are kept free from fouling in brackish and salt-water environments. Two copper anodes are placed on each side of the ship, and the control box makes sure the copper is very slowly released in the water, to create an environment that is unattractive to bio life, but does not add a threatening concentration to the environment.
