Lettinga Associates Foundation (LeAF) is an independent knowledge centre on the development and implementation of sustainable environmental protection technologies, with the object of (re-)utilizing valuable compounds in waste and wastewater.

Goals
LeAF aims at developing and implementing appropriate technologies for industrial and agricultural purposes as well as robust, affordable and sustainable waste and wastewater treatment technologies for sanitation.

These technologies will contribute to the reduction of emissions, for example of greenhouse gases, and to the realization of the Millennium Development Goals, aiming to reduce the number of people without access to safe drinking water and appropriate sanitation.

Lettinga Foundation
LeAF administers the Lettinga Foundation, an idealistic fund with particular focus on knowledge transfer.
