More about solutions, less about problems

With 881 exhibitors, 21,500 visitors and 40 delegations from all over the world, the first combined International Water Week and 23rd Aquatech Amsterdam, was a tremendous success. Aquatech is a water technology trade fair, making it a very solution orientated event. In line, the main conference of the International Water Week also focused on solutions for sustainable use of water resources, in combination with the improvement of flood control.

Delegates from major delta areas in the world came to Amsterdam and exchanged their experiences in animated discussions and expert talks about new possibilities to manage the water related problems in the most densely populated and most flood prone areas in the world.

At the Industrial Leaders Forum the captains of industry challenged the water technology companies to step out of their comfort zone and think beyond filter technologies. They invited the water sector to reflect with them about new food and health products, new processes, new value chains that reduce the water use.

This newsletter gives you a review of all published articles related to the event.

Please note in your agenda: the next Aquatech/International Water Week will take place in Amsterdam from November 4 till 8, 2013.
