Business and innovation leaders

The global water technology sector is increasingly organized in hubs. The European Water Tech Week Leeuwarden 2020 will connect these hubs in Leeuwarden. Business and innovation leaders from companies, universities en governments will meet and inspire each other in the innovative climate of WaterCampus Leeuwarden.

In 2018 the first edition of EWTW attracted over 1000 participants from 38 countries.

Dedicated trade show

EWTW 2020 will, among others, feature the assembly of the Global Water Tech Hub Alliance, the Wetsus Congress 2020, an international business program initiated by Water Alliance and a dedicated trade show.

Policy, education, science, valorization, scale-up, business development and export: all aspects of innovation wille be integrated in the congress program and the trade show.

Multidisciplinary cooperation

The event will focus on the question how multidisciplinary cooperation can help to solve societal challenges around water. Issues like water scarcity, water pollution and water and health will be on the agenda, just like the water sector’s contribution to the circular economy.

Key note speakers from all over the world will bring forward viewpoints from businesses, science and politics. In interactive sessions and on the trade show floor, the topics can be elaborated further and business and development opportunities be explored.
