The 2019-edition of the Global Entrepreneurship Summit will take place in The Hague, the Netherlands on June 4-5. The world’s most inspiring entrepreneurs will show their innovations in agriculture, connectivity, energy, health and water.

Date: 4-5 June 2019
Location: the Hague, the Netherlands
Organisation: US State Department and Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands

The Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES) is an annual event, organised by the US State Department, to share and create strategies for success with a global peer network, and access to business leaders and government influencers.

The three-day event includes one-on-one match making, pitch competitions, interactive stages, and unique networking opportunities that get good ideas in front of the right people.

The governments of the Netherlands and the United States will co-host the 9th edition of this summit.

Previous editions have been held in North America, Asia and Africa. This year it's the first time that it takes place in Europe.

Participation
Do you have a transformative tech solution for agriculture, connectivity, energy, health or water? Is your innovation more than just a concept, with a functioning, market-ready business model? Is your enterprise investor-ready and capable to be scaled up internationally? Do you want to join other trailblazers to build entrepreneur-led solutions for the future, now?

Does this sound like you and your company? Then read on the GES 2019 website how you can apply (deadline: 30 January). For each scale-up, one representative can apply.

An estimated 20,000 emerging leaders have participated in Global Entrepreneurship Summits since 2010.

At previous GES Summits, governments and the private sector have committed to provide over 1 billion dollar in new capital to entrepreneurs worldwide.

Water sector
The Netherlands Water Partnership (NWP) will take the lead in the Summit’s water theme and will work on the conference programme with the Dutch Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management and stakeholders from the water sector.
