dws-aiww2017-aquatech-poster-770pxWith the latest edition of global water exhibition Aquatech Amsterdam set to open its doors in two weeks, a suite of new features has helped put the show on track to be a record-breaker. Exhibitor numbers have already passed the 900 mark, the highest ever for the trade event that will be held from 31 October till 3 November.

Expanded programme
The 2017 edition of the international event on process, drinking and waste water technologies, will include an even greater focus on innovation, and the expanded programme will highlight the latest developments in key segments such as desalination and smart technologies.

‘These new records underline Aquatech Amsterdam’s position as the leading platform on water technology,’ comments Marieke Leenhouts, Exhibition Manager for Aquatech Amsterdam.

‘We also feel the buzz and excitement when talking to people in the industry. They are looking forward to the show, and for us that is our greatest achievement’, says Leenhouts. ‘We look forward to bringing the water industry together in Amsterdam during the Amsterdam International Water Week.’

Several booths are specialised on innovation, like the InnovationLAB.

Innovation tours
Guided Innovation Tours help visitors and exhibitors alike to review the latest technology and innovation on display at Aquatech Amsterdam.

The tours provide easy access and save time for water professionals wishing to see the innovations on display.

The tours visit a number of stands on the floor and are complemented by explanation from a technology expert from BlueTech Research. Application to participate is necessary.

Netherlands Water Pavilion
The Netherlands Water Pavilion at Aquatech Amsterdam will again act as a perfect place for many participating Dutch water technology companies, showing their latest's innovative products and services.

As hosts of the pavilion, the Netherlands Water Partnership, Water Alliance adn ENVAQUA organized many special events.

The pavilion will be attended by delegations worldwide that have been invited by various Dutch organisations.

Amsterdam International Water Week
For the fourth time the Aquatech exhibition is part of the Amsterdam International Water Week (AIWW) a divers platform for water professionals around the world including a conference, a young professionals programme, social events and – new this year – Floodex Europe Launch Event.

This last event covers water level management and flood control and consists of a compact programme, with four elements, a tour, a knowledge programme, a networking gathering and a site visit.

To ensure free entrance, visitors of Aquatech Amsterdam need to register online.
