Aquatech Global expands and launches Aquatech Asia in 2026
Aquatech has announced its expansion to Asia, connecting global water technology leaders with one of the world’s most dynamic regions to meet Southeast Asian water demand. This new Aquatech Asia, to be held from 25-27 November 2026 in Bangkok, Thailand, marks an expansion of the Aquatech portfolio, joining their flagship shows in Amsterdam, Mexico, and China.
Southeast Asia faces unique challenges and opportunities in water management, driven by rapid urbanisation, industrial growth, and the need for climate resilience. Aquatech Asia aims to address the region’s most pressing water challenges, including flood and drought management, climate resilience, and integrated water solutions.
A powerhouse of companies supports the launch of Aquatech Asia. Among them Dutch innovative companies Bosman Watermanagement, Defacto Urbanism, Delta Context, Haskoning, Nijhuis Saur Industries, NX Filtration, ROwat Water Control, Technimex Water Management, and Wavesave. Together with other Dutch partners like Netherlands Water Partnership (NWP) and Water Alliance, they aim to drive innovation, resilience, and global collaboration in water across Southeast Asia and beyond. Aquatech Asia is also supported and endorsed by the government of the Netherlands and the Netherlands Thai Chamber of Commerce.
The expansion is supported by a strategic partnership between RAI Amsterdam and VNU Asia Pacific, headquartered in Bangkok, combining local market expertise with Aquatech’s global network and knowledge programme to deliver a world-class event for the region.

“On behalf of the Embassy of the Netherlands in Bangkok, I am proud to welcome Aquatech Asia to Bangkok. Water management is a shared priority for both our nations, and this event will provide a global stage for sharing innovations not only in water technology but also in integrated water management approaches, including flood resilience, drought mitigation, and delta management. We look forward to addressing our shared water challenges in Thailand and across the region, while offering valuable opportunities for the Dutch water sector and driving collaboration for sustainable growth.”, stated Remco van Wijngaarden, Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Thailand.
