Dutch Dubai: Uniting Water, Energy and Food at EXPO 2020 Dubai
The Netherlands will be present at the Expo 2020 Dubai with a unique Netherlands Pavilion and impressive Dutch Dubai programme that will include an extensive water track.
The Netherlands Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai is where you get to catch a glimpse of the Netherlands Biotope. It is the embodiment of the innovative and sustainable solutions the Netherlands can offer in the areas of water, energy and food and related fields. Take a look at how we unite water, energy and food solutions for a happier and greener planet.
The Netherlands Pavilion is one of the proud finalists of the Gulf Sustainability Awards 2021 under the category Best Sustainability Education or Awareness Programme.
The unique Pavilion forms the perfect stage for an interesting lineup of activities. Featuring water, energy, food, circularity and culture, the Netherlands has put together an impressive programme with thematic weeks, innovative art exhibitions and exciting business opportunities. Have a look at the Programming Information Pack of the Netherlands’ participation at Expo 2020 Dubai.
In terms of water, the upcoming Dutch Dubai water track programme will be focused on cross-sectoral collaboration (uniting water, energy, food!) and is therefore scattered over various theme weeks during Expo Dubai such as the Urban & Rural Development Week in November 2021 and the Global Goals week in January 2022. The Dutch water sector will host several events, sessions, exhibitions and more during these two weeks.
