This year's edition of the Water Politics Week starts on 17 May with a public lecture, followed by a series of online courses.

The Wageningen Water Politics Week is to debate and deepen knowledge about policy and governance theories in relation to water issues. Selected policy and governance theories will be discussed and applied to the water sector.

This year's edition of the Water Politics Week starts on 17 May at 15pm with a public lecture by the distinguished water scholars François Molle (UMR G-EAU Montpellier) and Leila Harris (University of British Columbia).

During this online event, also the International Journal of Water Governance will be relaunched as a peer-reviewed open (entirely free) water governance journal by the Acting Editor-in-Chief and co-organizer of the Water Politics Weeks Jeroen Warner.

In the remainder of the week, an online course aimed at graduate programme and PhD candidates who want to deepen their knowledge about policy and governance theories in relation to water issues will be given.

The Water Politics Week is organized by Art Dewulf (PAP), Jeroen Vos (WRM), Jeroen Warner (SDC) and Sumit Vij (PAP).
