Aquatech Mexico
Meet with the Dutch water sector at Latin America’s leading water technology event, Aquatech Mexico, from 2 to 4 September 2025. For three days, industry experts, regional leaders, and global professionals will come together at Aquatech Mexico to explore the future of water.
This year marks the ninth edition of Aquatech Mexico. Taking place at Centro Banamex in Mexico City, the event provides a prominent platform for professionals to exchange knowledge, generate high-quality leads, and build long-lasting relationships in the region.
Water challenges in Mexico
Mexico is the second largest economy in Latin America. Due to its great diversity of climatic and geographical conditions, Mexico is exposed to severe weather events that cause damage to the population, to infrastructure, to services and production systems. It also has many challenges with regards to water scarcity, water infrastructure and reuse.
The National Water Programme 2020-2024 (PNH) of Mexico, published by the National Water Commission (CONAGUA), aims to guarantee the human rights to water and sanitation, especially for the most vulnerable population, and to make efficient use of water to contribute to the sustainable development of the productive sectors. It also seeks to reduce the population's vulnerability to floods and droughts, preserve the integrity of the water cycle to guarantee water services that depend on basins and aquifers, and improve water governance. In alignment with these goals, Aquatech Mexico tackles pressing issues such as water scarcity, water quality, and climate resilience. The conference brings together industry leaders to discuss cutting-edge technologies and strategies, serving as a catalyst for innovation and progress in Mexico's water sector.
Netherlands Pavilion
As in previous years, the Netherlands Pavilion will once again be a central hub at Aquatech Mexico, showcasing the strength and innovation of the Dutch water sector. Featuring a diverse group of leading Dutch organisations, the Pavilion offers an ideal opportunity for visitors to connect directly with experts and companies driving sustainable water solutions.
