European Water Technology Week
The European Water Technology Week (EWTW) is one of Europe's leading international events dedicated to water technology. Bringing together entrepreneurs, researchers, policymakers, investors, utilities and water clusters from around the world, EWTW provides a unique platform for sharing knowledge, building partnerships and accelerating innovation.
Hosted in Stadsschouwburg De Harmonie in the heart of Leeuwarden, the event combines high-level scientific content with business development, networking and international collaboration.

The international water technology community will gather in Leeuwarden for the fourth edition of the European Water Technology Week from 26 to 28 October 2026.
The three-day programme brings together science, business and policy, creating opportunities to exchange ideas, discover emerging technologies and develop international collaborations. Topics include artificial intelligence, digitalisation, circular water solutions, water quality, European legislation and international market opportunities.
The annual Wetsus Congress is fully integrated into the programme, alongside business activities organised by Water Alliance and application-oriented sessions hosted by CEW.
