René Noppeney, Global director water technology products & innovation by Royal HaskoningDHV: "The combination of didactic knowledge and experience of World water academy and our technical expertise allows us to offer professional courses for our national and international clients."

Wide range of courses
The Global Nereda Academy is developing a wide range of courses and modules on different levels. Apart from the basics of the Nereda technology and the design of plants, operation, process control and investment decisions are also discussed.

Each module is customized with specific learning objectives for the target group and appropriate materials for the installation and the country. Exchanging knowledge on a full-scale installation in the Netherlands is an integral part of the programs.

About Nereda technology
Nereda is a new Dutch sustainable wastewater treatment technology for which there is considerable international demand.

Nereda treats wastewater with an aerobic granular biomass that quickly sink. The plants are cheaper than traditional plants and up to four times smaller. Moreover, they consume up to half the energy and hardly any chemicals are required.

The technology was developed by Delft University of Technology and Royal HaskoningDHV in cooperation with the Dutch Foundation for Applied Water Research (STOWA) and several Dutch water authorities.

About World water academy
The World Water Academy is the international branch of the non-profit Dutch national education institute for water professional.

The academy provides a sustainable training concept with an international character on a practical level, aimed at training field workers, providing water professionals more skills and providing customized courses to increase knowledge and raising awareness.
