dws-iww-aquatech-amsterdam-2011-stand-770px-1Exhibitors at the Aquatech Amsterdam 2013 showed massive interest in the Aquatech Innovation Award. They submitted over 70 entries of innovative products for the Aquatech Innovation Award. According to the organisers the number of entries has never been so high since the introduction of the award in 1998.

The winners will be announced on Monday 4 November 2013 during Aquatech Amsterdam’s evening opening ceremony.

The Aquatech Amsterdam 2013 trade exhibition will be held from 5 - 8 November  2013 in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

The prize is intended for the most innovative product, service or solution in the industry. Research & development are of vital importance for the future of any company. However, the competition organisers emphasise that innovation is not only essential for the water industry, but for the world as a whole. The Innovation Award stimulates companies to continue to creatively seek solutions.

The last Aquatech Innovation Award was won by Pentair Nijhuis in 2011 with its fish-friendly pump.

Visitors of Aquatech can walk along the new Innovation Route which will guide them through all new products.

Innovations for industrial water users
Another special route will highlight the exhibited products within the industrials water solutions segment, including the latest solutions in the fields of sustainable water consumption, cost cutting, and waste  water recycling.

Furthermore, the Industrial Leaders Forum will take place for the second time with the panel for this inspiring interactive session consisting of captains of the industry.

The forum will be held on 7 November 2013.

The 24th edition of Aquatech Amsterdam will be part of the International Water Week Amsterdam. During the week a series of water expert events will take place, offering a unique combination of solutions, policy and science.
