Royal Haskoning and DHV have officially merged and will now be known as Royal HaskoningDHV, Executive Board member Frank Heemskerk (former Minister for Foreign Trade) announced at the Singapore International Water Week on July 2.

At the Holland pavilion Van Heemskerk gave a presentation on the newly merged Royal HaskoningDHV organization and also addressed growth opportunities in the maritime and water markets for South East Asia, the Middle East, South Africa, India, Australia and Brazil.

Top 10 ranking
The new company, headquartered in Amersfoort, the Netherlands, is one of Europe’s leading project management, engineering and consultancy service providers, ranking globally in the top 10 of independently owned, non-listed companies and top 40 overall.

With nearly 8,000 professionals providing services worldwide from 100 offices in 35 countries, Royal HaskoningDHV carries out more than 30,000 projects every year in planning, transport, infrastructure, water, maritime, aviation, industry, energy, mining and buildings.

Bertrand van Ee chairs the Executive Board of Royal HaskoningDHV, with Erik Oostwegel as vice-chair. Jaska de Bakker (CFO), Piet Besselink, Frank Heemskerk and Henry Rowe complete the Executive Board. Joop van Oosten chairs the Supervisory Board, which counts 8 members in total, with Wim van Vonno as vice-chair.
