Water technology company Pure Water Group shipped four Continuous Electro Deionizations (CEDI) water purification units, each with a capacity of 100 m3/h, to an oil refinery plant at the city of Achinsk in Siberia.

The four CEDI systems are part of a water treatment project executed by the Russian company NPP Biotechprogress, Saint-Petersburg.

Commissioing in 2013
The total process water capacity of the WTP is 400 m3/h and the Electro Deionization equipment will be commissioned early 2013.

Ultra pure water
Pure Water Group is a leading manufacturer of high purity and ultra pure water equipment, highly specialized in the Continuous Electro Deionization (CEDI) technology.

It is 'master service provider' of Ionpure and distributes modules and systems from European warehouses to water system integrators across the world.

The equipment is implemented in the process and power industry, the pharmaceutical industry and at hemodialysis centers. The branch and product knowledge enable Pure WEater Group to guarantee qualitative high-end solutions which meet customer’s expectations on every level.

Constant water quality by removing remaining ions
CEDI is a continuous electrochemical process that is applied after reverse osmosis (RO). A CEDI-system purifies the RO product water to a constant quality ultra pure water. During this process most of the remaining ions are removed from the product water, including weakly ionized materials, like silicates and CO2.
