Ferr-Tech honored for best of tech innovations at CES2022
Dutch water technology company Ferr-Tech has been selected as an Innovation Awards honoree of the world’s largest high tech exhibition CES2022, celebrating the best of top scoring products. The company’s innovative product, FerSol, can purify water with a simple dosing of this environmental friendly oxidant.
CES2022 is hybrid again and takes place in Las Vegas, USA from 3 till 8 January.

Outstanding design and engineering
The innovative water treatment technology of Ferr-Tech is selected as honoree for its outstanding design and engineering in consumer technology products. Ferr-Tech developed a technology to purify water by dosing Ferrate (VI) in polluted water. The breakthrough was not the dosing itself, but the ability to produce Ferrate (VI) in a stable and preservable form, called FerSol.
By pioneering and research the start-up has been able to become the world’s first to use this very strong oxidant for cleaning waste water and make it available for re-use, mainly for industrial applications. As a side effect, FerSol also eliminates some bacteria, fungi and viruses.
Awarded in run-up
In the run-up to CES2022, Ferr-Tech has been awarded at the CES Unveiled in Amsterdam on 14 October. The event was one of the preview event series that showcases the latest products and trends leading up to CES. Ferr-Tech won the award in the category Sustainability, Eco-design and smart energy. According to the jury, Fersol was selected as it will revolutionize wastewater treatment by replacing harmful and traditional chemicals.
During the CES2022 show in Las Vegas in January, FerSol will be presented together with some 500 other innovations from many renowned brands, such as Samsung, Lenovo, Nikon, Sony and Philips.

Global issue of water scarcity
Judith le Fèvre, co-owner and marketing director at Ferr-Tech is looking forward to the exhibition and expects much attention as their innovation addresses a huge global problem. "Worldwide two out of seven people suffer daily from a lack of clean drinking water and eighty percent of wastewater is discharged into nature unpurified", Le Fèvre points out.
"Ferr-Tech is the change! We contribute to preventing the ever growing global problem of clean water scarcity. We are the first Dutch company who have succeeded in producing Ferrate (VI) in a stable and preservable form for industrial application. Our purpose is to globally unchain the power of FerSol. First on line in Las Vegas’.
