Connecting to build on innovative water solutions, that is the focus of the Dutch participation at the Singapore International Water Week. The Singapore International Water Week (SIWW) 2021 edition will take place from 21 June to 2 July 2021. This year, the Dutch water sector is actively participating in SIWW2021 Online.

Exchanging water expertise

From digital water solutions to adaptation, and from coastal management to zero waste solutions. The Dutch water sector is showcasing its experiences and innovative technical solutions throughout the SIWW2021 Online weeks, creating a platform for interaction and knowledge exchange. We would like to hear your thoughts and ideas and invite you to join our online sessions. Registration is open.

Innovation to practice series (I2P)
The innovation to practice series highlights proven innovations that can make positive contributions to water challenges worldwide. The Dutch water sector is facilitating multiple I2P sessions during SIWW2021 Online.

  • I2P.8 Increased Efficiency using Digital Water Solutions for Water Utilities (AquaSuite and EventLab use cases) | 25 June 2021, 8.00pm - 9.00pm SGT (GMT+8)

  • I2P.17 Adaptation in South East Asian Cities: Solutions for Heat Stress, Flooding & Planning an Integrated Vision for the Future | 30 June 2021, 09.00pm - 10.00pm SGT (GMT+8)

    Organisers: Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Singapore, Netherlands Water Partnership in close cooperation with EcoShape/One Architecture, Deltares, Singapore Management University, KuiperCompagnons, MVRDV, BAM Delta Marine Consultants, Blue21 and the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management of the Netherlands.
     
  • I2P.19 ReCirc - Towards Integrated Zero Waste Solutions for a Circular Economy  | 1 July 2021, 4.00pm - 5.30pm SGT (GMT+8)

    Organisers: Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management of the Netherlands, Witteveen+Bos, KWR Water Research Institute, Wageningen Food & Biobased Research

Water Convention
The Water Convention serves as a platform for water professionals and practitioners to share knowledge, experiences and engage in discussions through presentations showcasing sustainable technological solutions, case studies and applied processes and management strategies to solve global water challenges under the following themes: 1. Delivering Water from Source to Tap (Network); 2. Delivering Water from Source to Tap (Treatment); 3. Effective and Efficient Wastewater Management; 4. Cities of the Future; 5. Water Quality and Health.

Dutch organisations taking part in the Water Convention are: Desolenator, KWR Water Research Institute, PWNT, Waternet, Royal HaskoningDHV, Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences, IRC Wash, Indymo, MARE.

Virtual Expo

The Virtual Expo at SIWW2021 Online offers exhibitors a virtual space to showcase and profile innovative products, technologies and solutions in urban water management. The Dutch water sector is well represented on the virtual exhibition floor. We welcome you to have a chat. The bright orange Netherlands Pavilion is your gateway to connect with the Dutch water sector, find partners or to learn more about what the sector has to offer. Or you can connect directly with some of the organisations within the Dutch water sector by visiting their virtual pavilions. 

Dutch organisations on the exhibition floor are: Royal HaskoningDHV, BAM Infrastructure, Royal Eijkelkamp, Deltares, City of Rotterdam, Paques Asia Pacific, Water Alliance, Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Singapore, Netherlands Water Partnership.

Product/Technology showcases
Part of the Virtual Expo are the technology showcases: a line-up of more than 30 product and technology showcases where participating companies will present their latest solutions and innovations. Dutch organisations joining the line-up are Delta Marine Consultants (DMC), Deltares and Royal Eijkelkamp.
